The SEAL Family Foundation was built on a simple but powerful belief: When we care for NSW families, we help sustain the strength of the force. From easing the burden of deployment to supporting family readiness and reintegration, our mission is rooted in service to those who serve and those who stand beside them.
Our Board of Directors serves with a shared commitment to this mission. Their leadership helps advance programs that bring comfort, care and connection to the NSW community when it matters most.
To support individual and family readiness through an array of programs specifically targeted to assist the Naval Special Warfare community in maintaining a resilient, sustainable and healthy force in this era of persistent conflict and frequent deployments.
Founded in 2008, the SEAL Family Foundation is a nonprofit, 501(c)3 organization that raises funds and awareness for special programs in direct support of the Naval Special Warfare (NSW) families on a local, national and global scale. In 2025, we invested over $1.82 million directly into program services, with remaining funds supporting program administration and Foundation operations.
Our vision is to be the premier provider of benevolent civilian support services to the NSW community we serve. This is pursued by collaborating with the leaders of the Naval Special Warfare Family Support Team to better understand the effects of deployment; by frequent analysis to ensure we are meeting current needs; by the delivery of exceptional programs; and by educating and involving the civilian population in support of these elite warriors.
