The SEAL Family Foundation serves the Naval Special Warfare community during life’s defining moments before, during and after deployment. We provide support, care and connection to NSW warriors and their families as they endure the sacrifices of service and adapt to the unique demands and challenges of Naval Special Warfare.Â
To support individual and family readiness through an array of programs specifically targeted to assist the Naval Special Warfare community in maintaining a resilient, sustainable and healthy force in this era of persistent conflict and frequency deployments.
Founded in 2008, SEAL Family Foundation is a nonprofit, 501(c)(3) organization that raises funds and awareness for special programs in support of NSW families on a local, national and global scale.
With over $1.82 million invested directly into program services in 2025, we’re proud to be recognized as a Charity Navigator four-star organization and to have received Platinum status from Candid.Â
Donate NowThe scope of our services focuses on three pillars of the NSW community. Here’s how your support for SEAL Family Foundation helps warriors, their families and the fallen.
From the earliest days of training through milestone graduations, with your support, we remain present for active-duty operators and their families. Through connection points such as graduation celebrations, Hell Week breakfasts and training support events, we connect with over 10,000 family members, reinforcing community during defining moments of service. When unforeseen challenges arise, critical injury and emergency assistance ensure timely, direct support to give operators the peace of mind that someone is there for them and for their family.

With your investment, we invest in families who serve alongside our operators – reaching spouses through highly connective Sisterhood gatherings and critical Reintegration workshops; supporting NSW children through tutoring, assessments, and advocacy in partnership with Children of Valor (formerly SEALKIDS); funding NSW service members through the Tadpole Project to support future family planning, and so much more. The command Family Day grants you make possible bring together thousands of family members across San Diego, Virginia Beach, Alaska, Germany, Mississippi, and Hawaii – strengthening resilience and community across Naval Special Warfare.

Through continued support and meaningful gatherings, we remain committed to standing beside our Gold Star families. We continue to host Gold Star family members at Wreaths Across America in Arlington and San Diego, honoring their loved ones with dignity and remembrance.
